Ed walked into a dark stone room as he looked around. There was only a few torches to light the room and it didn't really help for him. "Where the heck am I..." he whispered as he looked around. "Herr, he's here..." "Yes I know..." Ed kept walking without knowing what's behind. "Walk straight..." he whispered. "Hey there, Edward!" Ed was surprised. He quickly looked back but he saw nobody. "Who?" he asked. Mengele walked out from the darkness. "It's me," he said with a smile. Ed looked at him for a while. "Something wrong?" Mengele asked. Ed sighed in relief. "No, sir," he said. "I'm just a bit surprised with the darkness..." Mengele smiled and walked past Ed. "Come on, Edward, I wanna show you something," he said. Ed was surprised. "What thing?" he asked as he chased Mengele. "You'll see," Mengele said. Mengele walked with Edward following behind him Ed was looking around as they walked. 'Whoa," he said. "This is something..." Mengele stopped walking. 'You haven't seen all," he said. Ed smiled. "Will you show me, doc?" he asked. Mengele nodded. "I think we're only a few more further from the place we're looking for," he said. Ed looked around. "Although I have been in Central for a long time, I've never seen this..." he whispered. Mengele suddenly stopped walking and turned back to Ed. "Here," he said. Ed walked to him and turned to look at his front. "Wha..." "I bet you know why I took you here, don't you?' he asked. Ed kept looking at the scene in front of him. "Wait..." he said. "You didn't tell..."
***
"Wait...." Ed held his head. Many people, maybe about hundreds, were in front of him with their hands and legs tied. They were laying on the floor with their a piece of cloth in their mouths. "You want me to make a stone with these?" he asked. mengele smiled. "What do you think?" he asked. Ed looked at the people in front of him. they were looking at him, pleading for help. A few soldiers were standing behind, watching them with their guns on their hands. "You will do it, right, Ed?" Mengele asked.
Ed sighed. "What do you think?" he asked.
"Don't be kidding," Mengele said. "We have the agreement, right?"
"It goes in Germany," Ed said. "Not here."
Mengele walked away. "But still, it goes the same," he said. "Or there will be some risk to bear, right?"
"I don't care," Ed said. "A no is still a no."
Mengele smirked and stopped walking. He turned back to Ed.
"Well," he said. "It means you'll have to take the risk."
A few men walked out and stopped before Mengele. "Doc..." they called. "It's..."
"I know," Mengele said. "Thanks. You may go."
The men left and Mengele walked to the something they brought. He knelt down and smirked.
"Well, Edward?" he asked. "I'm just asking for one last time, you know?"
"I don't care," Ed said. "It's still a no."
Mengele sighed and walked away as he took out a Walther gun from his pocket.
"I don't expect this from you," he said as he turned to Ed. "I thought you are a gentleman."
"This is beyond the agreement," Ed said. "I think I have a say about that."
Mengele didn't say anything. Ed still couldn't see what the soldiers have brought into the room.
"And the agreement is make a stone and then go with me to Thule," Ed said. "So I'm not making it for a second time."
Mengele sighed. "Well, you know what..." he said. He looked at the citizens who were laying on the ground. He looked back to Ed, and scanned him from head to toe.
"Actually you're right," Mengele said. "So I didn't do my threat."
Ed didn't say anything. Mengele walked forward, then he kicked something. Ed's eyes grew wide.
"But for this girl," he said. "You will, won't you?"
***
"You will, won't you?"
Ed looked at Winry, who was laying on the ground with blood oozing out of her mouth.
"Ed..."
"So that's why you bring the whole SS team with you," Ed said. "Unfortunately, it's still a no."
Mengele sighed and looked away. "See?" he asked. "That's why you're no gentleman."
A man in grey uniform showed up and stopped before Winry.
"No?"
"No."
Mengele shook his head and the soldier smiled. He suddenly kicked her on the chest.
"Win..."
Two men appeared and grabbed Ed's arms.
"No?"
Ed looked at Winry as drops of sweat rolled down his forehead. Mengele sighed as he saw the kid won't move.
"Oh come on Ed..." he said. "You're gonna let her die?"
Mengele squatted before her and touched her cheek. "She's beautiful, don't you think?" he asked. The soldier nodded. She didn't react, seems like she couldn't feel anything more.
"F***..." Ed cursed. "Let me go!"
"No, no..." Mengele said. "Folks, you won't move until he does it, right?"
The two men who were holding Ed smirked. Ed looked at them, his eyes full with hatred.
BAM
Ed was shocked. He quickly turned to the wall, and found Winry laying before it. The wall has some blood marks. Now the citizens started to react, but they can't move.
"F*** German, let her go..."
"She's still got a life to live..."
Mengele sighed and turned back to the citizens. "But, ladies and gentlemen," he said. "It depends on Edward Elric."
Winry panted as she saw the wall in front of her. She could feel something's going to happen.
"Wait!" Ed shouted as the soldier walked to her. "Stop it!"
"Once you do it, it's over," Mengele said. "How do you think?"
Ed could now feel the sweat rolled down to his chin. The man grabbed her hair and lifted her.
"You sure don't shout, do you?" he asked. "Can't you shout? You can speak, can't you?"
Mengele turned back to the citizens. Now they looked furious of because of the torture going on in front of them.
"How is it, Ed?"
Ed looked at Mengele, his eyes sharp as blades.
"Damn you, colonel..."
The soldier unexpectedly bumped her to the wall. She hissed loudly, then she fell to the ground. Ed closed his eyes, trying not to see what's going on.
"How is it? Don't tell me I have to make her shout?"
Ed rebeled, but the soldiers who were holding him were too strong.
"How is it?"
Ed panted. Now he could feel fear across his body.
"No..."
Mengele turned to Winry. She was facing the ground, now a few of her hairs were red.
"Young lady, did you just say something?" he asked. Winry panted and looked up to him.
"I'm not talking to you," Wiry said. "DOn't you dare say anything."
Mengele smirked and walked up to Ed. "Good, I like brave girls," he said. "That's not something you can find in German very easily, right?"
"You..."
The soldier dragged her across the room and dropped her in front of Mengele. "Or you want me to shoot her?" he asked. "Maybe you'd love to see her dead?"
"No..."
Ed's face turned pale as Mengele aimed his gun at her.
"Until three, no answer, I'll shoot her," Mengele said. "One..."
Ed didn't move. "Two..." Mengele counted.
Winry looked up to Ed as she panted. Now some blood flowed from her lips, because she didn't shout, she bit her lip.
"Three."
Mengele took out another gun. "No?" he asked.
"NO," Ed said. "NO..."
Mengele sighed. "Well," he said with a cruel smirk. "I think I haven't got much choice..."
