Monochrome

in this life, there are colours
colours that represent things
red for passion and love
blue for calmness and coldness

green for nature
yellow for prosperity
purple for elegance
pink for loveliness

black for sorrow
white for blankness
grey for unstability
and so on

this life is colourful
and every life has different colours
and each life's colour controls the life
showing the life, telling the tale

i don't know who you are
and i will never know who you are
but there's one thing i know for sure
my life, you painted it

i don't care who you are
and i don't care who you are
but there's one thing i cared
that you remained colouring my life

you may not be one
but to me, you coloured my life
you're an artist
just what i need to colour my life

my life as the blank canvas
you as the artist
your love as the paints
and time as the brush

before one day
the storm came
and spilled the paint
making the canvas wet
wet with just one colour

the last time i saw you
under the rain, under the storm
you didn't say anything
just looking away
without knowing what's on

i was standing far behind you
with a handful of flowers in my hand
red, yellow, pink, white
how colourful they are

something went in front of me
going past me very quickly
splashing the water onto my face
blinded me for a while

in this life, there are colours
colours that represent things
and every life has different colours
showing the life, telling the tale

before one day
the storm came
and spilled the paint
making the canvas wet
wet with just one colour

why did you disappear?
how come?
when i opened my eyes
where are you?

it rained heavier
with drops of water piercing my body
the pain getting into my body mercilessly
piercing my heart

my life as the blank canvas
you as the artist
your love as the paints
and time as the brush

now you're gone
the artist and the paints
leaving the brush useless
and the blank canvas

everything looked dull
without you colouring my life
this monochromatic world
you can no longer colour it

why?
why am i left alone?
in this dull monochrome world?
just me alone?

My, my, what a country...

As usual, teasing my own country.
Chickens have went to school these days, and of course, in a national school, there are of course, subjects to be hated...
forget maths. it's the most difficult thing at school. let's talk about things where we should memorize...
yeah. we hate civics more than anything else.
why?
well, of course, if you ask me i'll answer with 'because i don't want to sit in the parliament', dpr in indonesian...
but mostly because it's just some fancy memorizing lesson... like, 'what's the good of democracy?'
to be honest, i just had the exam about democracy today...
and what's the good of democracy?
'so we can respect public participation, so we can respect equality, plurality, and freedom'
like that's gonna happen.
so at the end, kids are starting to hate this lesson... even in my father's age, he called it a 'doctrine'. of course, it was rougher at father's age because it's suharto's... and of course, they did it a whole lot tougher than now.
but you know what? the current civics lesson, don't have practically anything to do with the fact in this country.
but however, the government insists on putting this damn lesson...
why?
they're hoping they can fix this country... some rectors say it's crucial (huh?) to put this lesson on the curriculum..
because... they want children to be a good leader in the future...
but in fact, terrorists in indonesia comes from indonesia! so what the **** heck are they hoping to change in this country?
because children who studies civics, they look at the papers or tv or whatever whatever and all they see is 'corruption, colution, and nepotism'.
so at the end, people who are desperate to change THIS country...
say, me...
(sometimes if you hear chicken says 'i want to be a pres', it's not really a joke... but 'chicken doesn't want to be a pres' isn't, either...)
confusing? yes, this country!
so practically civics in indonesia is useless. just to piss children off.
(chicken not trying to insult civics teachers)
but for children, what they see is what they do.
corrupt leaders? don't think civics will be very useful for children.
because what you're doing now is practically what children will do as well, in the future...
gyahahahahhaa(wicked laugh)
or if you can't change the attitude erase that lesson and let children relax. at least, they don't have to study about how to be a good person while the bad ones are still ruling the country.

weeyaaaaaaaah! hi!
finally. (phew) don't think chicken dead! chicken alive and happy!
chicken just dunno what to post, because of the press independence in Indonesia must sometimes be a bit questioned...
but whatever. chicken just got 'scolded'...
no, it was just a 5 mins speech from english teacher, because he found an article about terrorism in my notebook.
but chicken's not gonna post it here, because chicken don't wanna get killed.
so chicken will just post neutral poems...
